Description

You will manage high-availability server, database, and SAN platforms across local and remote data centers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 99.999% uptime for mission-critical systems through proactive monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning.
• Execute hardware and software configuration, patching, upgrades, and capacity management.
• Manage data center migrations, server upgrades, and OS/firmware patching.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery through failover/failback procedures and runbook documentation.
• Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation, including after-hours and weekend support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of system administration experience specifically with Red Hat LINUX.
• Expert knowledge of Red Hat-based distributions and LINUX/UNIX administration.
• Proficiency in LINUX/UNIX shell scripting.
• Experience administering Client C7000 blades, DL380, and DL580 servers.
• Experience supporting Oracle SQL databases, including Oracle RAC cluster implementation on SAN platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SAN architectures and Fibre Channel protocols.
• Experience with server hardening, cyber security, and DMZ deployment.
• Familiarity with OSS tools for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Linux infrastructure and networks.

Preferred Skills

• LINUX LPIC, Red Hat RHCSA, or Red Hat RHCE certifications.
• Additional LINUX, Database, SAN, or Server/OS certifications.
