Description

You will administer critical messaging infrastructure specializing in IBM WebSphere MQ and IBM Integration Bus (IIB).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, integrate, and maintain IBM MQ on Windows, Linux, and AIX.
• Manage MQ objects, clustering environments, and monitor logs for Queue Managers and Channels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex MQ and IIB issues using detailed log and error analysis.
• Perform root cause analysis and manage disaster recovery planning for messaging systems.
• Configure and manage ODBC/JDBC connections to ensure MQ/IIB communication with external applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience in IBM MQ and IIB administration.
• Deep knowledge of MQ architecture, objects, and clustering principles.
• Hands-on proficiency with MQSC commands and scripting for administration.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, log analysis, and problem determination.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Proficiency in setting up and managing ODBC/JDBC connections.
• Working experience with IBM MQ on Windows and Linux.
• Ability to provide 24/7 operational support in rotational shifts.
