Description

You own the full development lifecycle, implementing complex software applications and resolving non-routine technical problems with minimal supervision.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and design solutions using detailed flow charts and data flow diagrams.
• Translate high-level designs into coding-level flowcharts, action diagrams, and pseudo codes.
• Triage production tickets, troubleshoot system errors, and correct issues in production environments.
• Mentor junior staff on operational release standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience working with multiple programming languages and operating systems.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Proficiency in Perl and Python, with knowledge of XML and Ajax.
• Experience with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and Db2.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and version control using SVN.
• Experience with ITIL processes and system operations.
• Ability to adhere to CMMI standards and corporate policies, including HIPAA.
• Demonstrated business knowledge in one or more domains.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior analysts on operational standards.
