Senior Systems Analyst

You act as an individual contributor, solving non-routine problems and implementing new software applications under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and develop solutions using complex flow charts and data flow diagrams.
• Develop detailed, coding-level flowcharts, action diagrams, and pseudo codes from high-level designs.
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Triage production tickets, troubleshoot system errors, and correct issues in production.
• Mentor junior Systems Analyst staff on operational release standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience working with multiple programming languages and operating systems.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience with ITIL processes and system operations.
• Proficiency in languages such as Perl, Python, and knowledge of XML and Ajax.
• Experience with relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and Db2.
• Familiarity with operating systems like Linux and version control using SVN.
• Ability to adhere to CMMI standards and corporate policies, including HIPAA.
• Demonstrated business knowledge in one or more domains.
