Description

You will bridge business needs and technical execution for healthcare API products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead API product delivery through definition, design, build, and testing.
• Perform detailed source-to-target data mapping and develop transformation rules for REST/FHIR services.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, modeling, and design with vendors, stakeholders, and product management.
• Analyze business needs to drive functional and non-functional requirements, including use cases and data flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and QA teams to ensure solution alignment and perform root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in complex source-to-target data mapping (Database to API, XML to JSON, API to UI).
• Proficiency in FHIR STU3.0 or higher.
• Extensive knowledge of RESTful and SOAP API design, development, and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with JSON and XML formats.
• Ability to write SQL queries to troubleshoot data mapping and verify data quality.
• Experience using SoapUI, Rest Client, or Postman to analyze payloads.
• Knowledge of HL7, EDI formats (835/837, 270/271), and healthcare/payer data formats.
• Experience working within a structured Agile SDLC.
• Background in healthcare-specific data environments.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to various ETL tools.
• Experience with manual or automated quality assurance testing methodologies.
