You will design, develop, and implement enterprise and cloud-native applications within large-scale, high-volume heterogeneous systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, compliant, and high-performance cloud-native and Java EE applications.
• Execute object-oriented analysis and design using UML modeling techniques.
• Manage large-scale system implementations involving online Mainframe transactions.
• Develop web applications following OWASP guidelines for secure development.
• Integrate business rules engines and support DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (UML) and structured methodologies.
• 10+ years of experience with Java EE (Java 1.8+, JDK 11+, EJB, JPA, Servlet, JDBC) and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
• 10+ years of experience with databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, and IMS.
• 10+ years of experience with operating systems (Unix, Solaris, AIX, Linux RedHat, Windows Server) and container platforms (OpenShift, Docker).
• 10+ years of experience with web/application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, WildFly, or IIS.
• 3+ years of experience with Microservices architecture and Cloud-Native application design.
• 3+ years of experience with frontend technologies including Angular, React/Redux, GraphQL, and Node.js.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile, DevOps CI/CD, and automated system implementation.
• Proven experience with build tools like Maven, Ant, and version control via GitHub/GitLab.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Canadian Public Sector policies, procedures, and service delivery models.
• Experience with accessibility testing tools including Selenium, JAWS, WAVE, and NVDA.
