Description

You will lead agile processes and systems engineering efforts to manage program increments, workflows, and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Agile, Scrum, and Kanban practices across multiple projects to increase throughput and reduce bottlenecks.
• Lead program increment (PI) planning, backlog reviews, and the pruning of backlogs to ensure alignment with milestones.
• Manage workflows within and between teams, utilizing Jira and Confluence to standardize recurring processes.
• Derive and allocate requirements into detailed designs while overseeing the development of software, systems, and hardware.
• Coordinate with hardware and software teams to perform retests and regression testing following defect correction.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing value delivery and communicating progress to program management and customers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, 3 years with a Master’s, or 1 year with a PhD.
• Proven experience transitioning mature teams from Waterfall to Agile methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and Lean approaches.
• Hands-on experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS.
• Technical proficiency in SysML and UML.
• Expertise using MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Excellent technical writing skills for generating formal analysis and reports.
• Must possess an active, in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to support business needs.

Preferred Skills

• Active U.S. Government DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and modeling tools like Rhapsody or Cameo.
