Description

You will be a Senior Systems Engineer focusing on automation and enterprise job scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, and implement Automic workflows supporting critical business processes.
• Review and optimize workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Support migration of workflows from deprecated on-prem instances to cloud platforms.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and bash to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate workflows with ServiceNow and expand monitoring capabilities.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years experience supporting Automic Automation Engine or other enterprise job scheduling tools (e.g., JAMS).
• Minimum 5 years background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) operating systems.
• Understanding of OS-level concepts and high-level infrastructure architecture.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or other ticketing tools.
• Familiarity with Confluence (or other documentation/wikis).
• Demonstrated exceptional troubleshooting methodology.
• Automation mindset, actively seeking opportunities to automate processes.
• Experience with PowerShell or bash scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Prior maritime experience from a technology perspective.
• Strong skills in Python or Node.js.
• Experience in user management via Active Directory.
