Description

You will design, automate, and maintain enterprise job scheduling workflows using Automic, ensuring reliability and scalability across cloud and on-prem environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, debug, and implement Automic workflows for critical business processes.
• Optimize existing workflows for performance and scalability.
• Migrate workflows from deprecated on-prem instances to cloud platforms.
• Develop automation scripts in PowerShell and bash to improve operational efficiency.
• Integrate workflows with ServiceNow and expand monitoring capabilities.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years supporting Automic Automation Engine or enterprise job scheduling tools (e.g., JAMS).
• 5+ years background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems analysis.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) operating systems.
• Strong understanding of OS-level concepts and infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with PowerShell or bash scripting.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing tools.
• Familiarity with Confluence or other documentation wikis.
• Exceptional troubleshooting methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Prior maritime industry technology experience.
• Strong skills in Python or Node.js.
• Experience managing users via Active Directory.
