Description

You will design and deploy infrastructure aligned with logical application designs, translating requirements into detailed technical diagrams and bills of materials for engineering teams.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Translate logical application designs into infrastructure-aligned deployments by collaborating with application developers and architects.
• Create detailed technical designs and bills of materials for build, deployment, and post-deployment validation.
• Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, EKS, VPC, Security Groups, Cloud WAN, Private Link, and storage services like EBS, EFS, and S3.
• Implement and maintain shared service integrations including Apigee, Ping, Redis, Confluent Kafka, IBM MQ, HashiCorp Vault, and Snowflake.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery across multi-region environments using AWS Landing Zone fundamentals and identity federation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with at least 2 years in cross-functional disciplines (compute, storage, network, database).
• Strong expertise in AWS services: EC2, EKS (Kubernetes), VPC, Cloud WAN, Private Link, NLB, EBS, EFS, FSx, S3, and RDS/Aurora Global.
• Experience with container orchestration using OpenShift or EKS, including SDN networking.
• Proficiency with API gateways (Apigee), reverse proxies (Ping), caching (Redis), and messaging systems (Confluent Kafka, IBM MQ).
• Knowledge of secrets management (HashiCorp Vault) and data access platforms (Snowflake).
• Familiarity with identity and access management, host-based firewalls, and F5 GTM.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
