Description

Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale VDI environments using Citrix and VMware technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure and scalable VDI platforms supporting thousands of global users.
• Manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, and NetScaler Gateway.
• Administer VMware Horizon environments, covering Connection Servers, UAG, Instant Clones, App Volumes, and DEM.
• Develop high availability, disaster recovery, and failover strategies for infrastructure components.
• Automate deployment and maintenance using PowerShell and orchestration tools to reduce operational overhead.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in End User Computing and VDI environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
• 5+ years of experience managing VMware Horizon infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, and Load Balancers.
• Experience with storage technologies and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS VDI).
• Ability to perform root cause analysis for performance and connectivity issues.

Preferred Skills

• Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V) or Expert (CCE-V) certifications.
• VMware Certified Professional – Desktop and Mobility (VCP-DTM).
• Experience managing 10,000+ VDI users or DaaS environments.
