Description

Design, architect, and maintain enterprise-scale VDI environments using Citrix and VMware Horizon. You will own the end-user computing infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance for global users.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure and scalable VDI platforms supporting thousands of users across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Manage and administer Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Gateway/NetScaler, and Director.
• Administer VMware Horizon environments, including Connection Servers, Unified Access Gateways, Instant Clones, App Volumes, and Dynamic Environment Manager.
• Develop and execute high availability, disaster recovery, and failover strategies for critical infrastructure.
• Automate deployment, maintenance, and patching cycles using PowerShell and orchestration tools to reduce operational overhead.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in End User Computing (EUC) and VDI environments.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
• 5+ years experience with VMware Horizon and vSphere.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Proficiency in networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, and Load Balancers.
• Experience with storage technologies and performance tuning using tools like ControlUp or VMware vRealize Operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues via root cause analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure or AWS VDI implementations.
• Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V) or VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DTM) certification.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust access models and cloud-based VDI (Citrix Cloud/Horizon Cloud).
