Description

You will maintain and optimize core data infrastructure systems, ensuring high availability and performance of the Teradata ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Teradata Platform components, including database and node management.
• Monitor system health, manage PSIM administration, and ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 security standards.
• Tune performance and optimize resource utilization across complex workloads.
• Develop and execute automation scripts for provisioning, maintenance, and upgrades using Python, Bash, and Perl.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Linux and Unix environments.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Perl.
• Experience with ETL processes and data infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to perform performance tuning and resource optimization.
• Familiarity with networking and firewall concepts.
