Description

Lead the design, development, and certification of safety-critical real-time embedded systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead real-time, embedded system design and development from requirements through certification.
• Manage system engineering processes, including requirements management and technical project management.
• Develop systems compliant with ARP-4754, RTCA DO-178, DO-160, and DO-254 standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams using Agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Implement script-based verification practices using Python and LabVIEW.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in safety-critical, real-time embedded system development.
• Familiarity with flight deck design concepts and operational certification requirements.
• Knowledge of avionics or aircraft system development and certification.
• Proficiency in Python and LabVIEW for verification and scripting.
• Strong project management skills to manage dependencies and risks.
• Experience leading teams in both Agile and waterfall environments.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Deep familiarity with software and complex device development life cycles.
