We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer — Microsoft 365 to join our team in Irving, TX on a hybrid basis.
This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for the engineering, administration, security, automation, governance, and continuous improvement of a global Microsoft 365 environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID
• Manage Teams calling, meeting, recording, retention policies, ACR, and Teams Premium
• Govern SharePoint/OneDrive permissions, external access, sites, metadata, and storage
• Manage Exchange Online mail flow, groups, mailboxes, and security configurations
• Administer Entra ID app registrations, Conditional Access, licensing, and identity governance
• Develop PowerShell automation for M365 administration and reporting
• Work with Microsoft Graph API and Azure application registrations
• Support M365 migrations, including Google Workspace to SharePoint Online and tenant transitions
• Implement Microsoft Purview retention, eDiscovery, legal holds, and information protection
• Support compliance initiatives including CMMC and SOX
• Manage M365 backup/recovery solutions such as AvePoint and Keepit
• Support governance and reporting using tools such as SysKit Point and Power BI
• Contribute to Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio governance
• Serve as a senior escalation point and mentor junior engineers
 

What We're Looking For:
• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration
• Strong expertise across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and Azure app authentication
• Experience with M365 security, Conditional Access, governance, and compliance
• Experience with ITSM/change management and CAB processes
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills in a global environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
 

Preferred: Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, MS-700, MS-721, SC-300, SC-400, or equivalent, along with experience in Microsoft Purview, M365 migrations, backup/recovery, CMMC/SOX, and Copilot governance
