Description

You will lead the architecture, prototyping, and verification of complex multidisciplinary systems integrating optical, mechanical, electronic, and control components.

Responsibilities

• Architect and prototype key algorithms and control systems using physics, electrical, and mechanical models.
• Define critical requirements, negotiate tolerance budgets, and manage specification flow-down.
• Collaborate with firmware and software teams to implement algorithms for product operation, factory calibration, and remote deployment.
• Develop and reconcile system budgets, including video wall level specifications for display technology.
• Drive technical decisions using concrete data and manage product lifecycle through reliability testing, failure analysis, and root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in multidisciplinary systems engineering.
• Proficiency in C# and Python.
• Experience with system simulation of control systems and algorithms.
• Background in architecting consumer or commercial systems consisting of hardware and software subsystems.
• Experience with product certification including EMI/EMC, safety, and compliance protocols.
• Strong skills in documentation, scheduling, and technical specification tracking.
• Ability to work with domain experts to steer development based on metrics and data.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenCV, Verilog (HDL), or Linux-based environments.
• Background in video or image processing, NVIDIA GPUs, FPGAs, or high-speed communications.
• Knowledge of optical subsystems such as machine vision, LiDAR, robotics, or laser-based equipment.
• Experience with display metrology, standards, or material science.
