Description

You will own the operational execution and infrastructure engineering for back-end IT systems, acting as the subject matter expert for hybrid cloud and Windows environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and implement infrastructure solutions, including hybrid cloud architecture for migrating on-premise workloads to AWS.
• Provide production support for Windows servers, storage, VMware vSphere, AWS, and VDI systems.
• Manage project lifecycles by documenting requirements, proposing solutions, conducting ROI studies, and reporting status.
• Execute system maintenance including upgrades, patching, daily backup checks, and disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Identify automation opportunities for repetitive procedures using tools like REST APIs and mentor IT staff.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Windows System Administrator or Engineer.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022) and Active Directory.
• Advanced knowledge of VMware ESX/vSphere 7.0 or higher and VMware Horizon VDI solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of Amazon AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, CloudTrail) and cloud migration.
• Advanced knowledge of SAN systems, specifically Pure Storage and NetApp.
• Experience with HP Tandem NonStop systems and administration.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online and data center infrastructure networking protocols.
• Ability to manage direct report subordinate staff.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating systems processes via REST API.
