Description

You will manage and maintain the Apigee API Gateway infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability for enterprise integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support Apigee infrastructure and gateway solutions, including management APIs.
• Execute capacity planning to ensure platform scalability for future transaction volumes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis for the Apigee platform.
• Implement security protocols including OAuth 2.0, TLS, certificates, KeyStore, and Trust store.
• Configure high availability, load balancing, and failover settings for high-traffic API solutions.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of Linux administration experience with strong UNIX/Linux operating system knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Apigee API Gateway and enterprise integrations.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and application troubleshooting/diagnostics.
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, or Nagios.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Working knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitHub.
• Practical knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with SAML, LDAP SSO, and logging integrations.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of direct experience supporting the Apigee platform.
• Experience working with Kubernetes.
