Description

You will administer and maintain Unix systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role owns the automation of configuration management and operational tasks using Ansible, while supporting day-to-day infrastructure operations and troubleshooting incidents.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Unix/Linux systems to ensure high availability and security.
• Automate configuration management and operational tasks using Ansible playbooks and roles.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis for system and service-related issues.
• Support infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, patching, and operational readiness activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve operational processes and service reliability.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Unix/Linux administration.
• Strong experience with Ansible automation and configuration management.
• Proficiency in scripting for operational automation and workflow efficiency.
• Proven ability to support and manage mission-critical production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience maintaining system and operational documentation for governance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience contributing to continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance and stability.
• Knowledge of security guidelines and best practices in systems operations.
