Description

Engineer and maintain complex kernel-level systems software, focusing on display technologies and power management.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Debug and analyze complex issues related to display technologies and power management.
• Design, develop, unit test, document, and maintain features for kernel mode drivers.
• Tackle problems directly impacting end users and partner OEMs.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams on multi-site projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience writing and debugging kernel mode drivers on X86/AMD64 platforms.
• Proficiency in C and C++ languages, libraries, and toolchains.
• Detailed knowledge of Linux kernel internals and low-level system programming.
• Experience working on unreleased hardware platforms.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong software engineering skills for tackling hard problems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with device driver development for ARM SOC platforms.
• Background with embedded system SW concepts, such as RTOS or overlay programming models.
