Description

You will engineer scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Create AIDE standards for Micro-Services, including APIs, schemas, serialization, and data stores.
• Develop software for AIDE's real-time data pipeline and batch processing using Python, Java, and/or Go.
• Build metrics, monitoring, and structured logging capabilities into the systems.
• Write unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure code safety for continuous delivery.
• Automate processes and participate in DevOps style, lean team practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience focusing on Python, Go, or Java.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with cloud technologies, specifically Kubernetes or Kafka.
• Proficiency with databases including Cassandra, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elasticache.
• Experience developing highly scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Ability to write comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
