Description

Design and develop platform and system-level software and firmware for Juniper Router networking products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write functional, design, and unit test specifications for embedded software modules.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot complex embedded code modules across all development phases.
• Bring up new hardware and debug embedded system software for network switches and routers.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams to resolve defects and ensure quality.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of embedded systems development and debugging experience.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Expertise in device drivers and embedded system software.
• Experience with network switches, routers, Ethernet, and PHY/SERDES.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PCIe, I2C, FPGA, and high-speed buses.
• Knowledge of hardware board design, layout, and memory debugging tools.
• Familiarity with virtualization, cloud architectures, and DevOps practices.
