Description

You will extend the data platform and improve database development processes for finance and accounting services.

You will own the design, implementation, and optimization of database solutions, ensuring scalability and performance for financial data repositories.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database solutions that meet specific service and business logic requirements.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL code, stored procedures, and ETL processes.
• Define data repository requirements, including data dictionaries and warehousing specifications.
• Ensure database scalability, performance, and reliability through proactive tuning and troubleshooting.
• Develop detailed database specifications and table attributes based on financial business rules.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of production experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Advanced proficiency in Transact-SQL programming and performance tuning.
• Strong relational database design and schema modeling skills.
• Deep understanding of SQL Server features and functionalities.
• Advanced SQL query writing and optimization capabilities.
• Experience troubleshooting to ensure database environment stability.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and financials to support service requirements.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RedGate SQL Toolbelt.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure database solutions.
• Experience or familiarity with ERP systems.
