Description

You will administer and maintain the Tableau Server environment, ensuring stability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Tableau upgrades, server restarts, and backups to ensure system integrity.
• Identify and resolve background task failures, job queueing issues, and slow workbook performance.
• Create custom administrative views from repository data and configure data-driven alerts.
• Troubleshoot server issues using Tableau Server logs and resolve outstanding problems.
• Manage license allocations and monitor disk usage across the server infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Tableau Server and Site Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Server Management, including upgrades and backups.
• Proficiency in configuring server alerts and managing server tasks.
• Experience creating administrative views and custom alerts.
• Familiarity with Tableau Desktop for dashboard maintenance.
• Ability to interpret data reports and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience managing server failure scenarios and test servers.
• Knowledge of Tableau Server logs for issue diagnosis.
