Description

You will design and deploy interactive dashboards to transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Integrate data from diverse sources including SQL Server, EDWs, CSV files, and HL7 formats.
• Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and accessibility while maintaining technical documentation.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business users to translate requirements into effective visualizations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data visualization, with at least 4 years focused on Tableau development.
• Expert-level knowledge of HL7 messaging standards and their application in reporting.
• Strong SQL skills, including building complex queries at the command line for comparative analysis.
• Extensive experience designing and building 3rd Normal Form data structures in SQL Server.
• Deep understanding of HIPAA regulations and secure handling of Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Experience cleansing raw datasets and working within Agile or Scrum environments.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including clinicians and government leadership.
• Proven experience supporting state agencies or healthcare/health insurance organizations.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
