Description

You will manage and optimize the Tableau Server environment while driving dashboard development and user enablement.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Tableau Server administration, including user access, security permissions, and system performance optimization.
• Organize project structures, folders, and workbooks to ensure efficient data organization and collaboration.
• Maintain and update existing dashboards and construct new visualizations based on stakeholder requirements.
• Mentor users on dashboard design best practices and provide technical support for troubleshooting data accuracy issues.
• Develop documentation and user guides covering data preparation, quality control, and visualization standards.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Tableau Administration or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Proven experience in dashboard design and data visualization best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Python, specifically using Pandas or NumPy for data manipulation and ETL automation.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to read SAS programming to convert logic to Python.
