Description

Develop and maintain enterprise Tableau dashboards, optimizing SQL queries in PostgreSQL and resolving data quality issues.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build story-driven, user-centric dashboards using advanced Tableau features like LOD expressions, parameter actions, and complex interactions.
• Write, optimize, and debug SQL queries, specifically within PostgreSQL environments, to support accurate reporting.
• Translate loose requirements into functional solutions, managing enhancement requests and ad-hoc analysis with minimal oversight.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize workbooks, and perform thorough testing and validation to ensure low-defect delivery.
• Document technical implementations and testing results while proactively communicating risks and blockers in an Agile/Scrum setting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Tableau developer or BI engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, including relationships, joins, and custom visualizations.
• Advanced SQL skills with specific experience in PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to clean, manage, and resolve issues with messy or imperfect data.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with written technical requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Track record of delivering tested, production-ready dashboards with minimal rework.
