Description

You will develop, test, and maintain transaction processing and back-office system applications for large-scale institutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business problems and their impact on transaction processing systems.
• Develop system applications using standard concepts and procedures.
• Test applications to meet required quality and performance specifications.
• Coordinate and implement new system installations and perform system walk-throughs.
• Resolve software support issues related to application design specifications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years designing, developing, and implementing software applications.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale applications in large institutions.
• Proficiency with Tandem, HP Nonstop, COBOL, and TAL.
• Experience with data replication using Shadowbase or GoldenGate.
• Knowledge of switch network interfaces, ATM/POS authorization, and Host Interfaces.
• Background in Tandem utilities, transaction simulators, and source repositories.
• Experience in Agile software Product Development Lifecycles (Scrum, SAFe, Lean Agile, or Kanban).
• Familiarity with Cobol and Tal.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with REST APIs.
• Strong experience leading event-based architecture strategy and governance at large institutions.
