Description

You will lead architectural design and technology delivery for citywide MWBE software implementation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions using custom development and COTS products.
• Write code, configure COTS solutions, and create architecture diagrams.
• Build automation pipelines and manage the full development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Direct the development team to ensure secure solutions compliant with NYC Cyber Command standards.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and manage security updates and firewall rules.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership or software engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, C#, C++, or JavaScript.
• Strong expertise in Enterprise or Solution Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud-based architecture.
• Experience implementing cloud-based SaaS solutions.
• Proficiency with DevOps toolsets and automation pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies.
• Ability to define technology standards for security, document transmission, and digital signatures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within SAFe frameworks.
