About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Tech Lead with strong architectural thinking, hands-on coding capabilities, and deep experience in the .NET ecosystem and Azure cloud. The ideal candidate should be comfortable leading teams, interacting with clients, defining branching strategies, and driving solution design end-to-end.

Must be self-driven, proactive, and an excellent communicator, with a strong development background and the ability to still be hands-on when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Architect and design scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions using .NET and Azure.
• Define and enforce branching strategy, coding standards, and software engineering guidelines.
• Create and review architectural documents (HLD, LLD) and technical decision records.
• Ensure applications follow best practices for performance, resiliency, observability, and security.
• Provide technical direction, conduct code reviews, and mentor the development team.
• Lead the implementation of microservices, integration patterns, and enterprise-grade API architecture.

Project & Team Leadership

• Lead and manage development teams across backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps.
• Own technical delivery, sprint planning, estimation, and risk management.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed systems.
• Ensure clean, maintainable, high-quality code with a “vibe for coding” and hands-on expertise.

Client Interaction & Communication

• Act as the primary technical liaison with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into well-defined technical solutions.
• Present architecture proposals, POCs, diagrams, and technical strategies clearly.
• Strong soft skills: communication, negotiation, stakeholder alignment, and documentation skills.

Execution Ownership

• Self-motivated and capable of driving initiatives independently.
• Proactively identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Stay updated with new technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.

Technical Skill Requirements

Backend / .NET Expertise

• Expert in .NET Core, C#, Microservices Architecture, Dependency Injection, Kestrel
• Advanced OOPS, Delegates, Reflection
• Strong understanding of SOLID, DRY
• Design Patterns: CQRS, SAGA, Strategy, Factory, Repository
• EF Core, Dapper
• Advanced API Security (Rate-limiting, Model Validation, HttpOnly Cookies, secure API design)
• Hands-on coding skills with practical implementation experience (not just theoretical knowledge)

Azure Cloud Expertise

• Azure App Services
• Azure Functions
• Azure Key Vault
• Managed Identity
• AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
• Azure AD / SSO (OAuth2, OIDC, Client Credential Flow)
• Integration with Microsoft 365 using Graph API, SharePoint, Exchange, etc.
• Experience with Azure Event Hub, Service Bus, APIM
• Exposure to event-driven architectures

Frontend Expertise

• Experience with any modern JavaScript framework:
  • React
  • Angular
• Blazor is good to have
• Strong understanding of component-driven architecture, state management, and front-end build pipelines

Database Skills

• Strong with both RDBMS and NoSQL
• ACID properties, transaction isolation levels
• Indexing, query optimization, database performance tuning

Tools & DevOps

• Visual Studio, VS Code
• Git (GitFlow / Trunk-based branching strategy)
• PowerShell
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and DevOps workflows

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in .NET and cloud technologies
• 2–3+ years in a Tech Lead, Senior Developer, or Architectural role
• Strong communication and client-facing experience
• Strong leadership qualities with a passion for high-quality coding
• Experience mentoring and guiding teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with Helm Charts, YAML pipelines
• AI-assisted development experience (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
