Description

Lead technical direction for in-house passenger booking applications, owning modular data streaming, cloud transformation, and API product development.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data APIs and delivery services for operational and analytical applications.
• Manage application deployment through automated CI/CD processes and maintain high coding standards.
• Support and maintain data-centric products across various platforms and technologies.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to meet project objectives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Java.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, specifically Lambda and AWS CDK.
• Experience with Kafka and streaming data technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash and PowerShell) and SQL.
• Experience building microservices and API architectures.
• Expertise in CI/CD automation using Jenkins and Ansible.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and data engineering skills.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working within the airline industry.
