Description

Design and implement scalable data solutions on AWS, leading architecture decisions for data migration, streaming, and ETL workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize data pipelines using AWS Glue, DMS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3, Athena, and OpenSearch.
• Design data models and define performance standards for real-time streaming and batch processing systems.
• Lead and mentor offshore engineering teams, enforcing best practices for code quality and delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data strategies with business objectives and drive migration initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of experience in Data Architecture and Engineering.
• Life Insurance domain expertise is mandatory.
• Deep expertise in AWS Data Services: DynamoDB, S3, Glue, Athena, OpenSearch.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data transformation.
• Experience with Data Migration tools (AWS DMS, Attunity) and streaming (Kinesis).
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience defining and optimizing large-scale data lake architectures.
