Description

You will provide senior-level database administration to support data discovery, compliance, and system sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain database integrity and perform routine maintenance, including UNIX/OS patching, table indexing, and change pointers.
• Execute technical installations, upgrades, and configuration activities for initial builds.
• Triage, resolve, and document database performance issues and defects.
• Support data migration, interface management, and functional configuration.
• Define user authorization requirements and provide help desk support for end-user problems.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience managing enterprise databases.
• Proficiency in Oracle and SQL development.
• Experience with SAP BASIS or equivalent COTS.
• Familiarity with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Linux+ or RedHat RH124 Class participation certificate.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or a related technical discipline (or 4 years of additional SAP BASIS experience in lieu of a degree).

Preferred Skills

• Active DoD clearance (must be clearable to T5).
• 5 years of DoD/Navy ERP specific experience.
• Experience supporting data discovery or compliance efforts.
