Description

You will lead the design and implementation of high-performance backend systems for the Wealth and Investment Management payments domain.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Reactive Programming (WebFlux).
• Develop event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka and process real-time data streams with Apache Flink.
• Implement and optimize caching layers using Redis to ensure low-latency performance.
• Integrate conversational AI platforms, leveraging Google Dialogflow CX and LLM-based agentic frameworks.
• Manage data persistence across MongoDB and Oracle databases while maintaining robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java and Spring Boot.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Python for backend or data-driven development.
• Deep understanding of Reactive Programming principles and implementation.
• Proficiency with Apache Kafka for event streaming and Apache Flink for stream processing.
• Experience with Redis for caching strategies and performance optimization.
• Database expertise in both NoSQL (MongoDB) and RDBMS (Oracle).
• Strong background in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Direct experience in Wealth and Investment Management or Payments domains.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic architectures (ADK, Playbook).
• Familiarity with Google Dialogflow CX or similar conversational AI frameworks.
• Knowledge of GraphQL for API development.
