Lead technical design and implementation of complex, cloud-native WordPress solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced WordPress features, including custom Gutenberg blocks, plugins, and multisite setups.
• Build secure backend logic using Advanced PHP, ensuring adherence to coding and compliance standards.
• Optimize MySQL schemas, performing indexing, normalization, and query tuning.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, integrating testing and security scans.
• Lead development teams, driving Agile ceremonies like Sprint Planning and Scrum.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise WordPress development (plugins, themes, multisite).
• Expertise in Advanced PHP, secure coding practices, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of MySQL, including DDL/DML operations and query optimization.
• Proficiency with Docker and containerized application deployment.
• Experience with AWS services such as ECS, S3, RDS, Route53, VPC, and IAM.
• Strong front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and Angular.js.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, npm builds, and dependency management.
• Proven knowledge of GitLab CI/CD, automated testing, and GitFlow.
• Experience enforcing security standards and compliance controls (OWASP, GDPR).
