Description

You will lead a team of engineers through the design, planning, and execution of migrating Java-based applications to AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead developers and engineers to execute Java application migrations to AWS.
• Develop migration strategies that align with business objectives and minimize operational disruption.
• Oversee cloud architectural design, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation processes for cloud deployment.
• Mentor team members on Java development, AWS best practices, and cloud technologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java applications.
• 4+ years of experience managing cloud migration projects specifically within AWS.
• Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role managing technical teams.
• Deep understanding of AWS services, architecture patterns, and cloud-native design.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a technical field.
