You will lead software engineering teams to build high-quality, scalable web services using modern cloud and edge approaches.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical standards, architecture, and the delivery of software solutions that meet high standards for stability and extensibility.
• Manage, hire, and develop a team of high-performing software engineers.
• Lead cross-functional efforts from early-stage planning through to final release.
• Influence organizational roadmap priorities and represent technical trade-off decisions to stakeholders.
• Guide technical direction to solve complex problems and ensure operational excellence.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on the design and development of highly scalable web services.
• 4+ years of experience as a people manager in a software development organization.
• 5+ years of experience planning, designing, and delivering commercial or consumer software.
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented principles (Java or similar languages).
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Proven ability to partner and communicate effectively with product and program management teams.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development management experience.
• Deep hands-on technical expertise and project management experience using agile methodologies.
