Description

Document agency processes and procedures for the Integrated Case/Financial Management System. Own the full documentation lifecycle from planning to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews to translate technical information into clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, release notes, user manuals, installation guides, and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Write and edit knowledge-based content, including troubleshooting processes and vendor service descriptions.
• Collaborate with the PMO team to conceptualize content and peer review documents for grammar, style, and technical accuracy.
• Document backup, recovery, restart procedures, and contingency operations.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of full-time technical writing experience within a software development environment.
• 5+ years of experience documenting complex business processes and workflows.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Software.
• Proven ability to design, write, and edit technical documentation for software development communities.
• Strong ability to self-direct, multi-task, and manage multiple projects independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail in deadline-driven environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience documenting computer operations and program maintenance manuals.
