Description

You will produce high-quality technical documentation for Ansys HFSS, including end-user guides, API scripting documentation, and tutorials.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create HTML and PDF end-user documentation, Getting Started Guides, and API scripting documentation.
• Produce tutorials and videos to support product documentation.
• Update and revise existing documentation to meet current specifications.
• Collaborate with the HFSS development team to implement technical requirements.
• Mentor other documentation specialists and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with a BS in Technical Writing, Technical Communication, Computer Science, English, or Engineering (or 3 years with an MS).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and XML.
• Experience gathering and analyzing technical information from various sources.
• Proven ability to develop user-centric documentation with high accuracy and consistency.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience with image and video editing.
• Ability to manage tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Ansys HFSS or similar 3D simulation software.
• Experience using MadCap Flare, oXygen, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Python knowledge.
