Description

You will create, maintain, and clarify technical documentation for software architecture, APIs, and system designs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain software architecture guides, API documentation, and developer guides.
• Translate complex technical details into clear content for architects, developers, and product managers.
• Structure documentation to reflect the latest software updates and architecture changes.
• Review and edit documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
• Explain design patterns and system scalability to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of technical writing experience focused on software development and architecture.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software architecture principles.
• Proficiency with Markdown, Confluence, Git, and Jira.
• Experience documenting APIs and system design patterns.
• Ability to simplify complex technical information for end-users.
• Experience using version control and content management systems.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
