Description

You create and maintain technical documentation for aircraft maintenance procedures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise maintenance documents, including structural repair, non-destructive testing, tool & equipment, and component maintenance manuals.
• Submit work packages to generate illustrations accompanying maintenance instructions for technical publications.
• Conduct self and peer quality checks on all completed work packages for accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with core teams, engineers, and customer service representatives to validate procedures.
• Follow established procedures and suggest improvements to existing processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience authoring technical documents.
• Experience using SGML/XML, Arbortext, or Adobe FrameMaker.
• Understanding of engineering data, with ability to research and analyze engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Knowledge of aircraft operation, systems, maintenance practices, and manufacturing.
• Familiarity with GAMA/ATA guidelines.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional and diplomatic demeanor.
