Description

You will design, implement, and advance a secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment aligned with a multi-cloud strategy. You will work hands-on with GCP services, lead cloud architecture initiatives, and partner with cybersecurity teams to deliver a scalable, resilient, and compliant cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a GCP environment hosted in Canada, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and multi-cloud strategy.
• Implement secure, compliant, and scalable GCP services, including modern security controls and compliance automation.
• Automate delivery pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code deployments to accelerate onboarding and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and enterprise stakeholders to ensure secure implementation throughout the lifecycle.
• Produce reusable patterns for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and emerging capabilities, including completing required TRA and Privacy reviews.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience designing and architecting cloud solutions.
• Expert-level proficiency with GCP core services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM).
• Strong experience with Terraform or Deployment Manager for Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Strong background in designing secure access controls, IAM policies, firewalls, VPNs, and private connectivity.
• Demonstrated project leadership skills and adaptability to GCP environments.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to modern data platforms or analytics tooling (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc).
• Experience designing solutions that integrate generative AI or advanced automation.
