Description

You will lead macro 4G and 5G network design and optimization projects in Kansas City, MO.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute macro 4G/5G design, including antenna selection, placement, and propagation modeling.
• Perform coverage, capacity, and system performance planning to optimize end-to-end RF design.
• Develop design criteria, link budgets, and traffic analysis to update network performance parameters.
• Provide technical guidance for Nokia, Samsung, and Ericsson RAN equipment.
• Mentor junior RF engineers and lead engineering teams on specific projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in RF engineering.
• Expertise in 4G and 5G design.
• Deep knowledge of 3GPP, GSM, UMTS, and HSPA+ standards.
• Proficiency with FDD and TDD LTE technologies.
• Experience with Small Cell deployments and RF design principles.
• Ability to perform site walks, candidate assessments, and CD reviews.
• Competency in propagation modeling and prediction.
