Description

You own the quality assurance lifecycle for complex systems, ensuring reliability through rigorous testing and defect management.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts against business and technical specifications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across mainframe and external systems.
• Validate data flow between mainframe systems and external interfaces.
• Identify, document, and manage defects through the complete lifecycle with development teams.
• Provide support to end-users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing roles.
• Proven experience with Mainframe testing, including COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Extensive knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency with Jira and qTest for test management.
• Experience in API testing.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Ability to write clear technical and progress documentation.
