Description

Senior Test Automation Engineer owning the design and implementation of scalable Playwright-based test frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and build test automation frameworks from scratch, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
• Develop and execute end-to-end web application tests using Playwright and JavaScript.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines via Git-based systems like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate requirements into robust automated test scenarios.
• Debug test failures, identify root causes, and continuously improve test reliability and coverage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering and QA frameworks.
• Hands-on proficiency with Playwright for end-to-end web testing.
• Strong JavaScript skills for writing and maintaining automation code.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency in API testing concepts and tools.
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript for scalable automation design.
• Exposure to backend systems, SCADA, or WinCC OA.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
