Description

You will own the development and execution of automated tests for banking and payments platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test suites covering end-to-end payment flows (Wirs, SWIFT, RTP, FedNow, CHIPS).
• Validate message payloads using JSON, XML, and ISO 20022 schemas across file-based and real-time processing.
• Integrate and maintain test artifacts within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Perform database validation against SQL and MongoDB instances to verify transaction states.
• Utilize Splunk to validate and trace application logs during test execution.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in test automation, with 5+ years focused on banking and payments platforms.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Java, Playwright, and API testing frameworks like RestAssured and Postman.
• Experience validating complex message formats including JSON, XML, and ISO 20022 schemas.
• Familiarity with asynchronous and event-driven architectures such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of database querying using SQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and managing secrets within testing environments.
• Understanding of Git version control and test parallelization strategies.
