Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ECU-level software testing and integration verification for automotive embedded systems.
  • Develop, maintain and execute automated test cases/scripts for functional and regression testing.
  • Work with AUTOSAR Classic / Basic Software (BSW) components and ECU configurations.
  • Work with ECU Extracts, ARXML files and AUTOSAR configuration data as part of the testing workflow.
  • Analyze requirements and ECU/network configurations using Vector PREEvision.
  • Perform testing of automotive communication and diagnostic functions including CAN, CAN-FD and UDS.
  • Analyze ECU/network traces, test results and software failures to identify root causes.
  • Support functional, negative/fault and regression testing across applicable SIL / Virtual ECU / ECU Bench / HIL environments.
  • Contribute to test automation and, where applicable, CI/CD-based automated validation.
  • Collaborate with software development, integration and systems engineering teams to resolve defects and improve test coverage.

 

Required Skills

Must Have

  • 8–10+ years of relevant automotive embedded software/testing experience preferred.
  • Strong hands-on experience in automotive ECU software testing and validation.
  • Experience with Vector PREEvision.
  • Strong understanding of AUTOSAR Classic architecture and Basic Software (BSW).
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR BSW testing and/or ECU integration testing.
  • Experience working with ECU Extracts / ARXML and AUTOSAR ECU configurations.
  • Strong test automation experience, including automated test-case/script development and regression testing.
  • Automotive communication and diagnostics experience:
    • CAN / CAN-FD
    • UDS
  • Experience with ECU/network trace analysis, test-result analysis and software failure investigation.
  • Scripting/programming experience for test automation; Python preferred.
