Description

You will validate 802.11 Wireless LAN products, including Access Points, Wi-Fi Direct, and Station functionality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional and performance validation for WLAN and BT Coex testing.
• Design and implement system test plans and physical test beds.
• Identify, debug, and track software issues through the release cycle.
• Perform automated and manual release testing using black box and white box methodologies.
• Automate test cases using Python scripting.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience working with WLAN products.
• Mandatory knowledge of 802.11a/b/g/n/11ac specifications and Wi-Fi Station/Access Point operations.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
• Strong experience with Linux OS.
• Solid understanding of IP networking, including IP, DNS, DHCP, and Multicast.
• Expertise with protocol analysis tools such as Omnipeek, Wireshark, or tshark.
• Experience with traffic testing tools like Iperf or Chariot.
• Ability to use tcpdump for network traffic analysis.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi modulations and data rates.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 802.11ax, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi Direct, or WPS.
• Experience in Android or RTOS environments.
• Knowledge of Bluetooth (BT) testing or Wi-Fi Alliance certification processes.
