Description

You will own the testing and verification strategy for a complex medical robotics system.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test methods for verifying complex medical robotics systems.
• Support and update requirements and risk traceability documentation.
• Implement processes in the toolchain for verification and issue management.
• Execute system and subsystem verification testing.
• Drive continuous improvement for systems engineering and quality processes.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Biomedical, Robotics, Software, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of technical experience in the medical device industry.
• Experience developing verification methods and strategy for complex medical devices.
• Familiarity with traceability for large sets of multi-layered product requirements.
• Knowledge of applicable medical device standards such as IEC 60601-1 and collateral standards.
• Experience implementing test method verification.
• Experience working on complex electromechanical medical device programs through V&V.
• Ability to determine sample size for tests based on statistical processes.
• Familiarity with validating SW tools and test fixtures.

Preferred Skills

• Medical or surgical robotics experience.
