Description

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Test Lead to lead quality assurance strategy and execution for large-scale, enterprise-level systems within a complex and regulated environment.

The successful consultant will act as a quality advocate across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), driving best practices in test strategy, automation, performance, and accessibility (AODA) compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Scope

Lead testing strategy, planning, execution, and reporting across multiple systems

Embed “shift-left” testing practices across SDLC phases

Design and enhance scalable test automation frameworks (UI, API, database)

Ensure testing aligns with functional, non-functional, accessibility, and security requirements.

Assignment Deliverables

Comprehensive test strategies, plans, scripts, and reports

Implementation of automation frameworks and CI/CD integration

Risk assessments and mitigation plans related to quality assurance

Test data management strategies including anonymization and compliance.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

10+ years of experience in software testing within enterprise IT environments

Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing frameworks

Strong experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Postman)

Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar)

Experience using defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent)

Extensive experience with AODA compliance and accessibility testing

Strong knowledge of QA standards, security testing practices, and end-to-end system testing

Strong database knowledge (SQL, Oracle).

Nice to Have:

Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive timelines

Adaptability and ability to manage change in dynamic environments.
